Yerevan to host European Shooting Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s national shooting team will compete with a large delegation at the European Championship to be held in Yerevan. In a tournament of historic significance for Armenian shooting, the national team will be represented by 26 athletes.

In the rifle discipline, the squad includes Hrachik Babayan, Artyom Grigoryan and Mihran Gabrielyan.

In the pistol events, Armenia will be represented by Benik Khlghatyan, Zaven Igityan, Gevorg Melkonyan, and Elmira Karapetyan.

In the moving target discipline, the team features Hovhannes Margaryan, Gor Khachatryan, Hayk Minasyan, Tigran Manukyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Gohar Harutyunyan, Arusyak Grigoryan, Mari Ghazaryan and Mariam Mkrtchyan.

In the junior moving target category, the competitors will be Hamlet Karenyan, Manvel Grigoryan, Gor Martirosyan, Arman Barseghyan, Vladimir Arakelyan, Anahit Sargsyan, Aida Azatyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Yana Hakobyan and Natali Isakhanyan.

The European Championship will take place from February 27 to March 5 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. Tickets are already on sale.
