Pashinyan travels to U.S. for Board of Peace session

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has left for the United States to attend the first session of the Board of Peace in Washington on February 19.

Earlier, in Davos, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum and at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Pashinyan participated as a founding member in the ceremonial signing of the Peace Council charter. During the ceremony, representatives of participating countries signed the charter of the Peace Council in the presence of the U.S. president.

Heads of delegations from Armenia, the United States, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Morocco, Pakistan, Qatar, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Israel attended the signing ceremony.
