Armenia has sent humanitarian aid to Iran, mainly in the form of medicines, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a session of the parliamentary foreign relations committee.

He added that this was a natural step, 1lurer.am reports.

Opposition MP Kristine Vardanyan asked whether the aid had been publicly announced.

Mirzoyan replied: “We did not see the need to publicize it, but since you asked, I am answering.”
