The parliamentary mandate of Tadevos Avetisyan, a member of the Hayastan faction, has been terminated. National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan signed the corresponding protocol.

“Based on the MP’s resignation заявление and in accordance with Article 154, Part 1, Clause 6 and Article 155, Part 2, Clause 2 of the Constitutional Law ‘Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,’ the parliamentary mandate of Tadevos Avetisyan, elected through the national electoral list of the Hayastan faction, is deemed terminated,” the statement reads.

On March 26, Avetisyan was elected a member of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. On the same day, he also submitted his resignation from parliament.
