NATO signals continued cooperation with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - NATO values its partnership with Armenia, NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Kevin Hamilton said during a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.

He added that NATO is ready to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Pashinyan congratulated him on assuming the position and emphasized the importance of Armenia–NATO cooperation and active dialogue for strengthening regional security and stability.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of issues related to the partnership agenda, including opportunities to develop cooperation and effectively implement programs in areas of mutual interest.

The prime minister presented the progress of democratic reforms carried out by the Armenian government, highlighting the importance of consistent cooperation with international partners for strengthening institutional capacities and enhancing the country’s resilience.

The sides also exchanged views on the regional security environment, existing challenges, and steps aimed at ensuring peace and stability.
