Greco-Roman wrestler Gaspar Terteryan defeated Azerbaijan’s Ruslan Nurullaev at the European Championship in Tirana to reach the semifinals, the Armenian Wrestling Federation reported.

“In a highly tense bout, Terteryan won 1–1 in the 72 kg weight category and secured a place in the semifinals,” the statement said.

Another Armenian wrestler, Suren Aghajanyan, also advanced to the semifinals in the 60 kg category, defeating Russia’s Suner Konunov 8–0 in just one minute.
