Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra tours Europe

PanARMENIAN.Net - From April 27 to May 16, the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra will perform across Europe, appearing in prestigious concert halls in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Spain.

The orchestra will be joined by violinists Augustin Dumay and Sergey Khachatryan, pianist Eva Gevorgyan, Italian cellist Ettore Pagano, and conductors Eduard Topchjan (Armenia), Pier Carlo Orizio (Italy), and Benjamin Zwick (Switzerland).

The program will feature masterpieces of classical music by Dmitri Shostakovich, Gustav Mahler, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Max Bruch, Johannes Brahms, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Antonín Dvořák, as well as excerpts from Aram Khachaturian’s ballets “Spartacus” and “Gayane.”
