Armenian lawmakers meet visiting PACE delegation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Issues related to Armenia’s election campaign and political developments were discussed in parliament with delegates from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

National Assembly Vice Speaker and head of Armenia’s delegation to PACE Ruben Rubinyan, along with delegation members Sona Ghazaryan, Hripsime Grigoryan, Arusyak Julhakyan, Armen Rustamyan, and Armen Gevorgyan, met on May 12 with a PACE delegation visiting Armenia for a two-day trip.

The guests emphasized that the purpose of the visit is to familiarize themselves with the campaign for the June 7 elections and current political developments.

The election campaign that began on May 8 will continue until June 5. June 6 will be observed as a day of silence, while elections will take place on June 7.
