Armenia, Iran discuss extradition cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan discussed a number of issues of mutual interest with Iranian Ambassador Khalil Shirgholami, mainly concerning the extradition of wanted persons, provision of legal assistance and related matters.

The Armenian prosecutor general also expressed condolences over the deaths of numerous Iranian citizens caused by military actions, particularly the tragedy involving students of the Minab school.

The ambassador thanked Anna Vardapetyan for responding to the initiative for the meeting, emphasized the centuries-old close ties between the two friendly nations based on mutual trust, and highly praised the current level of cooperation between the prosecutorial bodies of the two countries.
