Anti-corruption body releases new bribery recordings![]() May 20, 2026 - 16:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee has released new audio and video recordings concerning additional alleged cases of election bribery. Within the framework of a criminal investigation launched over alleged vote-buying, receiving election bribes, violating the ban on charitable activity and obstructing the free exercise of voting rights, investigators said they had also obtained factual data regarding the material incentivization of former servicemen, including wounded soldiers, to participate in a gathering held in Yerevan in April 2026. The committee also reported receiving information about alleged crimes related to the killing of a serviceman. “The Anti-Corruption Committee will continue taking consistent measures to uncover and prevent such manifestations and to ensure that individuals suspected of committing crimes are held accountable in accordance with the law,” the statement said. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
