According to the decision, holders of United Nations Laissez-Passer and European Union Laissez-Passer documents will be permitted to stay in Armenia for up to 180 days within a one-year period without obtaining an entry visa.
The explanatory note states that the measure follows Armenia’s broader efforts to simplify entry procedures.
It also notes that, since July 1, 2025, Armenia has exempted from visa requirements citizens of 116 countries who hold valid residence permits issued by the U.S., European Union member states, Schengen Area countries, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, or the Sultanate of Oman, provided that their residence status remains valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Armenia.
