David Ghazinyan urges supporters not to lose hope

PanARMENIAN.Net - David Ghazinyan has urged his supporters not to become discouraged or retreat, according to a Facebook post by his brother, former National Assembly deputy and lawyer Arthur Ghazinyan.

“David’s spirit is high, his will is steel-like, and he remains committed to fighting until victory against what he describes as the authoritarian system established in the country and the group that is undermining and dividing our homeland and nation.

His message to friends is not to lose heart for a single moment, not to yield in the face of escalating terror, not to fear persecution or threats, to remain faithful to their declared values and ideas, and to consistently pursue our shared vision of a strong, secure, prosperous and just Armenia,” the post states.

Arthur Ghazinyan also thanked supporters for their expressions of solidarity and assistance.

David Ghazinyan has been placed in pretrial detention for two months. The Anti-Corruption Court granted a motion submitted by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

He is accused of preparing to offer election bribes.
