
By orders signed by Ruben Rubinyan, the nominee for Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly, two aides and two advisers to the Speaker will be dismissed from their positions effective August 3.
Specifically, Karlen Greyan and Zina Chalikyan will leave their posts as aides to the Speaker, while Hovhannes Nalbandyan and Aharon Nersisyan will be dismissed from their positions as advisers, Factor.am reported.
Earlier, Rubinyan also dismissed Edgar Muradyan, the Speaker’s referent. All of the officials concerned had been appointed during the tenure of current Speaker Alen Simonyan.
Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the 8th convocation of the National Assembly, will remain on leave until the first sitting of the newly elected parliament on August 2. The executive board of the Civil Contract party has decided to nominate Ruben Rubinyan as the next Speaker of the National Assembly.
