Microsoft raises education efficiency in Armenia
The main challenge Microsoft-Armenia faces today is to incorporate Information Technology in teaching humanities, the president of Microsoft office in Armenia Grigor Barseghyan told a news conference entitled "Usage of technology and new methods in education" .

Information technologies occupy more space in our lives and incorporation of information technology in education is very important and timely today, he said.

As RA minister of education and science Armen Ashotyan stressed, there are still some problems in the country, in particular, related to computer access, which have to be solved.

Under two agreements between Microsoft and ministry of education and science educational institutions of the country have been provided with licensed software.

In the framework of Partners in Education Microsoft funded hundreds of projects worldwide totaling $ 500 million. Since 2008 Armenia also involved in Partners in Learning.
