Anelik Bank won't be renamed

PanARMENIAN.Net - Anelik Bank president Samvel Chzmachyan said the bank will not be renamed.

"Anelik brand is very popular. A survey conducted in Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan showed that it's the most known foreign bank throughout the CIS. It would be a mistake to lose a brand functioning in over 100 countries," he told a news conference after announcement of alliance with Lebanese Credit Bank SAL.

Credit Bank general manager Tarek Khalife confirmed that the bank will not be renamed. "Anelik is developing and we believe in its future," he said.

Presently, Anelik Bank ranks 5th in the Armenian banking system.
