Crimea to host international symposium on «Ukrainian-Armenians: yesterday, today and tomorrow».
In cooperation with the Ukrainian Eparchy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Centre of Armenian Studies (CAS) under Ukrainian Union of Armenians and the Crimean-Armenian Society (CAS) are conducting the Second International Scientific-Practical conference on «Armenians of Ukraine: yesterday, today and tomorrow». The event is due on September 5-6, 2009, in «Sourb Khach» monastery (Crimea).

Conference will focus on the following themes: Armenian-Ukrainian ties from ancient times to the present day, history of medieval Armenian settlements of Crimea and other Ukrainian regions, resettlement of Crimean-Armenians in Azov province, the culture of Ukrainian Armenians from middle ages to the present day, Armenian-Ukrainian cultural dialogue etc.

Working languages are Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian and English. Upon the end of the conference, a collection of scientific articles will be compiled, analitika.at.ua reports.
