Microsoft launches new version of Windows 7
Microsoft corporation has today announced about launching the final version of Windows 7.
However, the new product will be available on retail market beginning October 22, 2009, whereas corporate clients who have signed Volume Licensing agreement will be able to acquire Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 beginning September 1. Subscribers to Software Assurance may activate Windows 7 much earlier, by loading the distribution kit via the Internet.
In particular, the current users of Windows Volume Licensing and Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) and subscribers to TechNet will gain access to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 within the coming weeks, says the company's official press release.
