Armenia to take part in Sochi-2009 international investment forumAugust 27, 2009 - 15:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Eighth international investment forum Sochi-2009 will be held from 17 to 20 September 2009 in Sochi. The Forum will bring together authoritative representatives of domestic and foreign businesses, academia and government officials.According to the department of foreign economic relations of Krasnodar regional administration, 27 states and 51 regions of Russia confirmed their participation in the forum. Representatives of Abkhazia, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, Armenia, Austria, Britain, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, UAE, Poland, Peru, Serbia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Finland , Switzerland, Sweden, Montenegro, South Africa, including 10 heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states, as well as business missions in Europe are among participants. One of the main themes the forum will be the investment strategy of Russia. Among other topical issues: the future of Sochi after 2014, tax policy, energy efficiency, infrastructure projects in crisis, the labor market. The forum is organized by the Russia's ministry of economic development, foreign ministry, Trade chamber and Krasnodar region administration with support of the RF government, ITAR-TASS reports.
