State Engineering University of Armenia today organized a welcoming ceremony for the first-year students. Congratulating the first-year students with admission to SEUA, Rector of the University, Professor Vostanik Marukhanyan said that SEUA opens its doors to new students for 77 years. "I wish you a good journey and fulfillment of all your desires and ambitions," he said. However, as he noted the university is equipped with new technical means, has a new on-line laboratory, renovated and technologically equipped classrooms. According to him, this year the university admitted 1.529 new students, and is one of the leading educational institutions of the country.

During the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports SEUA Ararat Gochikyan, dean of the faculty of the Armenian language professor Hasmik Petrosyan for their contribution to the development of science and education were awarded gold medals of the Ministry of Education and Science. A prosperous first year magistracy student Elena Kosolapova was awarded a prize.
