RA Prime Minister visited "Children's village" for orphans

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited "Children's' village" for orphans in RA Kotayk region within "SOS: Children's villages" Armenian charity fund project.



The Prime Minister was accompanied by RA Governmental Staff Head David Sargsyan, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Gevorg Petrosyan, National Director of Charity Fund Ashot Kocharyan and other officials.



In 1990 "Children's' village" in Kotayk region hosted over 220 children, who lost their families after 1988 Spitak earthquake.



Currently 56 orphans residing in the village need care.



During a meeting in "Children's village" Tigran Sargsayn gave high assessment to fund's work and expressed a hope that more effective programs will be implemented after governmental institutions join in program financing.
