RA and Iranian law enforcement agencies resolve for joint struggle against drug trafficking

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, RA Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan met Iranian Ambassador to RA Seyed Ali Saghaeyan. Parties focused on law enforcement agencies' collaboration issues, emphasizing the importance of collaboration against drug trafficking.



RA Prosecutor General, noting that drugs are usually imported to Armenia from Iran, stressed that Armenian law enforcement agencies have sufficient potential to prevent Armenia from becoming a transit zone for drug trafficking. He expressed a hope for further assistance of Iranian law enforcement agencies in discovery of drug dealers.



Seyed Ali Saghaeyan thanked the Prosecutor for collaboration and invited him to visit Iran.
