RA Chess Federation Vice President appointed World Cup referee

PanARMENIAN.Net - The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has appointed Armenian Chess Federation Vice President Ashot Vardapetyan as the referee of World Cup tournament matches which will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk (Russia) from November 20 to December 15.



Armenian grandmasters, Olympic Champions Gabriel Sargsyan and Tigran L. Petrosyan will be participating.



The games will start with 1/64 final and will be held by knockout system.
