Armenian Mika suffers first defeat in 5th round of European Club Cup
In the fifth round of the European Club Cup Armenia's chess champion Mika suffered his first defeat, yielding to Saratov's Economist with the score 3,5:2,5. 

Vladimir Akopian and Zaven Andreasyan suffered a defeat, while Tigran Petrosyan, Arman Pashikyan and Gabriel Sargsyan tied, and Aronian's victory only reduced the difference in scores. 

Mika after this defeat having 8 points in the asset shares 4th to 9th places of the tournament table. Saratov's Economist and Macedonian Alkaloid, scored 10 points, remain leaders. Ural Sverdlovskaya, who is going to compete with the champion of Armenia in the 6th round, now with 9 points closes the best three.

Mika's upcoming opponent include Alexander Grischuk, Alexei Shirov, Vladimir Malakhov, Alexander Grischuk, Alexey Dreev and Evgeni Bareev.
