Armenian organizations of Georgia opposed ratification of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols
Mass protest action against ratification of recently signed Armenian-Turkish Protocols held October 16 at the Embassy of Armenia in Georgia. As the press center of the Armenian community in Georgia told PanARMENIAN.Net in, the rally was organized by the Armenian community in Georgia, Armenian Center for Cooperation of Georgia and Armenian Student Association of Georgia.
Representatives of Union of Armenian veterans of Georgia joint the action.
The purpose of the event is to prevent ratification of these documents. The Ambassador of Armenia in Georgia Hrachya Silvanyan was handed a letter addressed to the chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan on behalf of the Armenian community in Georgia, Armenian Cooperation Center of Georgia, Armenian Student Association of Georgia and Union of Armenian Veterans of Georgia.
