World Championship in Sambo among girls, boys and youth finished in the Bulgarian town of Samokov. Armenia was represented in the world championship by two teams - junior and youth, with six athletes in each. 

Armenian teams jointly won three medals: Artavazd Minasyan (68 kg) won the silver medal, Tigran Kirakosyan (48 kg) and Mher Karapetyan (75 kg) won bronze medals. 

The Armenian delegation led by the President of Sambo Federation Leonid Hayrapetyan return to Yerevan on October 21. 

The Armenian Sambo team will take part in the World Championship among adults from November from 5 to 9 in Greece.
