Vardan Israelyan: Information about Henrik Mkhitaryan is absolutely untrue
Metallurg football club's Sports Director Vardan Israelyan has commented upon Sportal.bg news site's release on Armenian national team's half back Henrik Mkhitaryan having allegedly conducted talks with Bulgarian CSKA.
"Such information is absolutely untrue. In June 2009, Henrik Mkhitaryan signed a 3-year contract with Donetsk's Metallurg, with transfer rights pertaining to the football club," Donetsk club's official Web site quotes Israelyan as saying.
"Furthermore, neither our club nor Henrik Mkhitaryan have exchanged any information with Sofia's CSKA. And we are not going to communicate any information on Mkhitaryan's possible transfer to Bugarian club," Vardan Israelyan said.
