Vic Darchinyan spars with Tomasz Rojas
WBC/WBA super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan is taking no chances with his upcoming title defense against interim-champ Tomasz Rojas on December 12 in California.

Recently Darchinyan went through some tough sparring in Las Vegas with former junior welterweight/welterweight champion Zab Judah. Darchinyan says Judah is similar to Rojas in the sense that both of them are southpaws and stand around the same height. While Judah is much bigger, Darchinyan says the bigger man felt his punches.

"It was good sparring, I hit him with a couple of good shots and he felt it," Darchinyan told AAP. "He is about 15kgs heavier than me but he felt my punches. I've nearly made the weight and I'm feeling great. In the past I have already fought tall southpaws like Irene Pacheco," boxingscene.com reported.
