  RA MPs support dispatch of Armenian peacekeepers to AfghanistanDecember 7, 2009 - 14:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan briefed Armenian MPs on two agreements regulating legal and financial issues related to dispatch of Armenian peacekeepers to Afghanistan.Minister Ohanyan informed that the Armenian contingent will serve within the German mission under NATO northern command. Majority of Armenian parliamentarians supported the decision to send peacekeepers to Afghanistan. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
