Laurence Ritter received the Award for Best Actress in East-West Film Festival in Orenburg for her role in "Bonded Parallels ". She played a role of Laura in a joint Armenian-Norwegian-French film, directed by Hovhannes Galstyan. Bonded Parallels is a story of two Norwegian women, mother and daughter, who's destinies are intertwined with Armenia.

"Laurence Ritter is not a professional actress. It was difficult to work with her. But she was destined to this role and played herself - Laurence Ritter. That's why I have chosen her," Hovhannes Galstyan told.

In the middle of shooting she refused to continue and the film was brought to end thanks to other actresses who were shot from the back, from other angles.

"Bonded Parallels" is the first feature film of "Parallels film production", filmed by the National Film Center of Armenia, Norwegian Original Film and French Quasar Pictures.

Within the competitive program of 31-th Moscow International Film Festival a world premiere of "Bonded Parallels" was held in June 2009. European premiere of the film will take place in January 2010 as a part of the official program of the 39-th International Film Festival in Rotterdam.
