Diplomatic School at Armenian Foreign Ministry holds first entrance exams
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia held Saturday the first entrance exams to its Diplomatic School. 138 applicants who passed the first stage of the competition took part in the exams. 
  
Welcoming entrants, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian emphasized that establishment of a diplomatic school is an important event for the young Armenian diplomatic service. "The fact that we can organize training of diplomatic personnel proves the political, diplomatic and administrative capacity of the country," he said. 

Students of the Diplomatic School will learn in detail the main trends of Armenia's foreign policy, fundamental provisions of international relations and international law,  activities of international and regional organizations, negotiating skills and peculiarities of work in diplomatic missions. 
  
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Armenian ambassadors abroad, foreign ambassadors accredited to RA will give lectures in the Diplomatic School. Foreign ministers and senior diplomats visiting Armenia will be invited to the School to meet with students. 
  
Agreements have been reached with Diplomatic Academies in Rome, Moscow, Tokyo, Vienna, Tallinn and several other capitals, press office of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
