Darchinyan is after rematch bouts with Donaire, Agbeko

PanARMENIAN.Net - WBC/WBA 115 pound champion Vic Darchinyan is after rematch bouts with Nonito Donaire and Joseph Agbeko after destroying Mexico's Tomaz Rojas in two rounds at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California, US, on Saturday.

Both Donaire and Agbeko scored upset victories over Darchinyan.

"I want rematches," Darchinyan was quoted by Fightnews.com as saying. "Every night when I sleep I am thinking about when I'll fight those guys. It's in my dreams."

Darchinyan's American promoter, Gary Shaw, confirmed he was working on a fight with the Filipino Donaire.

Darchinyan suffered his first career defeat to Donaire and lost his International Boxing Federation and International Boxing Organization flyweight titles via a devastating fifth-round stoppage in 2007.

"He always calls me out. He's always doing that. There's nothing new about Darchinyan. That's how he is and that's how he'll be. If they can make the fight happen that's fine. I'm well ready for this fight and I'm actually excited to see that the fight will happen," said Donaire.
