«Gentlemen ex-communists Eltsin, Shevdnadze, Ter-Petrosian and Mutalibov, be ready for your turn», public prosecutor Carla del Ponte made such an unexpected statement during the consideration of the case of ex-President of Yugoslavia in Hague tribunal yesterday. According to her, «ex-leaders of Georgia and Azerbaijan Zviyad Gamsakhurdia and Abulfaz Elchibey could not see this day and that is better for them». As del Ponte noted the situation similar to the one in Yugoslavia because of Milosevic policy is well known for Russians, Chechens and Georgians. As «Arminfo» reports with reference to Azeri media, the Hague tribunal Prosecutor General Carla del Ponte, accusing Milosevic of crimes against humanity, stated that the reason of bloody conflicts in Yugoslavia was the attempt to create «Great Serbia» and that was the reason of mass losses of lives of civilian population, appearance of refugees, destruction of whole settlements.
