Armenian GMs Elina Danielyan and Nelly Aghinyan take part in the chess festival, in the Dutch city of Groningen. 70 chess players from different countries take part in the festival. 

After the first two rounds Elina Danielyan and Nelly Aghinyan have one point each and occupy 21st  and 26th  places respectively.
9 chess players lead the tournament table with 2 points.
