Armenia overcame crisis year of 2009 with dignity
The year of 2009 was a hard one, Armenian Finance Minister Tigran Davdyan said during a resulting news conference on Tuesday.

"The year past was abundant with challenges but Armenia accomplished it with dignity, retaining macroeconomic stability and continuing with reforms' implementation, though at somewhat decreased rate," he stated.

"In 2009 we managed to stabilize our economy, and 2010 we can enter into the growth stage," he stressed.

Minister Davtyan noted that Armenian government managed to counterbalance all challenges the country faced in the beginning of the year. Economic policy was implemented, budgeting process, economic and financial stability provided. "We're more prepared and will be able to regain pre-crisis economic growth in the near future," he concluded.
