Armenian Assembly of America has expressed its thanks to the US President administration for the assistance in the issue of the abolition of the discriminating visa restrictions for Armenia's citizens by Turkey. The day before the co-chairs of Armenian group of Congress Frank Pallone and Joe Knollenberg had made a statement regarding the decision of Ankara to mitigate the visa regime stating that " the imposition of visa restrictions for Armenia's citizens was a serious mistake of Turkey's government".
