Governor of California Gray Davis and Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian signed a protocol on mutual understanding between California and Armenia in Glendale. The document is called to promote activation of commercial, business and cultural contacts. American Congressman Adam Schiff was present at the signing ceremony. Let us remind that works on elaborating the project already started in summer. When the delegation of the Californian Parliament visited Yerevan, they discussed the provisions of the document with Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian, as well as the subject of opening a commercial representation of Armenia in Los Angeles.
