ARMENIAN REPATRIATION COMMISSION CREATED IN ARGENTINA
A special commission to contribute to repatriation of the citizen, who emigrated from Armenia during the recent years, is created by activists of the Armenian community of Argentina with assistance of the Armenian Embassy in Buenos Aires. According to information provided by "Azg" newspaper, since1993 due to the hard social-economic conditions in Armenia nearly five thousand Armenian citizens emigrated from the country to Southern America, in particular - to Argentina. "Recently the majority of our compatriots, who had emigrated to Argentina, seriously considers the opportunity for returning," - the commission statement says. In the words of Ambassador of Armenia to Argentina Ara Ayvazian, several people returned to their homeland with the assistance of the commission. It is noteworthy that the commission renders assistance not only to citizens of the Republic of Armenia, but also all Armenians, who wish to settle down in Armenia.
