STATE VISIT OF POLAND'S PRESIDENT TO ARMENIA TO TAKE PLACE NOVEMBER 14-16

PanARMENIAN.Net - Poland's President Alexander Kvasnevsky and his wife Iolanta Kvasnevskaya will arrive in Armenia on the invitation of Robert Kocharyan. As «Arminfo» agency has been informed today by the President's press service, Alexander Kvasnevsky will be accompanied by deputy ministers, advisers and other official figures. Within the framework of the visit, a group of Polish businessmen will also arrive in Armenia. After the two Presidents' private conversation, the talks of the two delegations will take place in the residence of the head of Armenia. It is planned that the visit will result in the signing of a number of bilateral documents. November 14, evening, President Robert Kocharyan and the first lady of Armenia will give state dinner in honor of Alexander Kvasnevsky and his wife. November 15, Presidents of the two countries will participate in the opening ceremony of the Armenian-Polish business forum. In the same day Poland's President will meet with the leadership of Armenia's National Assembly, standing commissions, deputy factions and groups. Within the framework of the visit, Polish delegation will also visit the Memorial to the victims of the 1915 genocide of Armenians, where President Kvasnevsky will place a wreath at the memorial and will participate in tree planting.

The meeting of Alexander Kvasnevsky with the students and the teaching staff will take place in Yerevan State University. Alexander Kvasnevsky will visit Holy Etchmiadzin and will meet with the head of Armenian Apostolic Church Garegin II in the closing date of his visit. Within the visit framework, the President of Poland will also visit President's Kocharyan residence in Sevan, the Matenadaran (Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuskripts) and will meet the representatives of Polish community in Armenia.
