ANC slams PACE activity at a meeting with Cavusoglu

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Congress as a political force is a mouthpiece for the majority of Armenian population, according to ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan.

“Still, despite thousands of followers, this force has no representative in the Armenian parliament,” he said. “Armenian authorities are in a standstill, and can even agree to concessions on Karabakh, if pressured by superpowers.”

Zurabyan noted that early parliamentary elections can change the situation in the country and relieve the persistent political strain.

He also said that the ANC representatives slammed the work of PACE monitoring committee and that of Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights during a meeting with PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu.

“As we stated, PACE resolution 1677, adopted last year is actual to this day,” Zurabyan said.
