Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan met with OSCE representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic on May 18.

Greeting the guest, Arman Kirakosyan attached importance to the OSCE role in securing human rights and basic freedoms.

The newly appointed OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media referred to steps taken by the Armenian authorities to secure freedom of media and positively estimated legislative reforms in the republic.

Armenia’s cooperation with the OSCE, specifically, with the office of the Representative on Freedom of the Media, was in the focus of the meeting, the RA MFA press service reported.
