Armenia shows favorable conditions for the development of fish breeding; with correct use of its potential the country can enter into international market, RA Fishbreeders Union chairman Arkadi Gevorgyan said.

As he stated at May 25 news conference in Yerevan, there are still some tasks to be accomplished: installation of costly water meters and reasonable use of water resources, long- distance water drainage and alterations in soil category.

As Arkadi Gevorgyan noted, monthly fish exports in Armenia gross 20 tons, with the number of fishbreeders in Armenia increasing thrice over the last 4 months.
