Naira Zohrabyan: to a certain extent, we are all to blame for European Parliament’s resolution on KarabakhMay 27, 2010 - 19:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - It’s strange that AMD 25 million funding allocated to propaganda development in 2009 would be suspended, while European Parliament’s 2216 resolution on Karabakh came a result of Armenian propaganda passivity, Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group member Naira Zohrabyan stated. As she noted at the sitting of RA NA Committee for European Integration, “Armenian propaganda is at a low level, so it won’t be right to cut funding in this particular sphere.” RA Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Kazinian agreed with the statement, adding that the funding was suspended because of financial crisis. She noted, that the resolution, though not of obligatory nature, raises certain concerns. According to Kazinian, Armenian Foreign Ministry has undertaken some steps in this direction, giving their own assessment on the resolution. “There’s no use in making accusations now. To a certain extent, we are all to blame for European Parliament’s resolution on Karabakh: be it parliamentary diplomacy, RA MFA or Armenian Embassies in EU states,” Naira Zohrabyan concluded.
