ARMENIAN LAWMAKERS HAVE REFUSED TO DEPRIVE VANO SIRADEGHYAN OF HIS DEPUTY AUTHORITIES
Armenian parliamentarians have refused to deprive Vano Siradeghyan, ex-Minister of Armenia internal affairs, ex-leader of "Armenian national movement" party, of his deputy authorities. 36 deputies were in favor, but 44 votes are needed for the mandate deprivation. So the lawmakers ignored the regulations adopted by themselves. The regulations state that a deputy is deprived of his/her authorities if he/she misses most meetings of the Parliament session because of not acceptable reason. It should be reminded that Siradeghyan stands accused of a number of very serious crimes and now is in international search.
