Prof. Grigoryan arrived in Armenia with his colleague, surgeon Mushegh Stepanyan. The surgeons will discuss performance of joint surgeries together with doctors of the Central Clinical Military Hospital of the RA Defense Ministry. As prof. Grigoryan told a press conference on June 5, during modern surgeries on encephalon and vertebral column, endoscopic equipment will be used to make the surgeries less traumatic and more secure. “This method is a world standard in neurosurgery,” he noted. During a two-day visit to Armenia, Russian doctors performed five surgeries, including removal of pituitary adenoma and intervertebral hernia.
