POPE INTENDS TO VISIT BAKU

PanARMENIAN.Net - Pope John Paul II is planning to visit Baku in 2002. This is stated in the message of the head of the Catholic Church that is addressed to the Azerbaijan's President Heydar Aliyev. As "CNA" agency informs, in his message Pope expressed his sympathy with the head of Azerbaijan regarding the sufferings of the people because of the unsolved Karabakh conflict.
