Alek Yenigomshyan: resoluteness is the quality Armenia lacks today

Monte Melkonyan had always shown interest in his family history. To know more, he came to Armenia in 1978, recollects Alek Yenigomshyan, head of the Monte Melkonyan Foundation.

“Melkonyan’s courtesy was known before the Artsakh movement but after the war it spread worldwide. Melkonyan, a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, who majored in ancient Asian History and Archeology, chose the service for his homeland instead of bright future abroad,” Yenigomshyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“Remembering Monte, I must mention his resoluteness, the quality Armenia lacks today,” he added.
