On June 3, 2010, Chairman of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Executive Board Igor Finogenov signed a decree, appointing Gennady Zhuzhlev to the post of Vice Chairman of the EBD Executive Board, Managing Director for Projects.

Zhuzhlev will be responsible for securing further increase in the investment portfolio, as well as expansion of the bank’s participation in financing of integration projects implemented at territories of member states, the EBD press service reported.

Besides, his responsibilities will include development of relations with the EBD largest strategic partners in Russia, Armenia and Belarus, as well as boosting cooperation with relevant ministries and institutions of the EBD member states and other CIS countries, as well as implementation of joint projects with national and international development institutions.
