Armenia cannot agree to NATO’s presence in Karabakh

Director of the Armenian Center for National and International Studies Richard Giragosian said that information on “deployment of NATO forces in Karabakh” contains at least two mistakes. First, Armenia cannot agree to it inherently, Mr. Giragosian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“Second, nobody is interested in presence of foreign troops as peacekeepers in the conflict zone, except for Azerbaijan. However, Azerbaijan will come off a loser, if it happens,” noted Giragosian.

On June 25, some Russian media outlets reported with reference to the Expert Council of the Russian Center for Conflict Prediction that the ruling coalition of Armenia has agreed to the deployment of NATO armed forces in the Karabakh conflict zone.
