Asked by a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter what cities Yerevan competed with, Minister Poghosyan said, “Yerevan has submitted a package of proposals and won a tough competition.”

For his part, Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan promised that the city administration jointly with the government will do their best to improve conditions in Yerevan’s bookshops and libraries.

“We will conduct events at the highest level,” he said.
