The leaders and representatives of 25 Christian Churches of the world arrived in Yerevan by the invitation of Patriarch of Armenian Apostolic Church Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. They are participating in the events dedicated to the tenth anniversary of Armenia's independence and the 1700 anniversary of Christianity adoption as a state religion. Yesterday President Robert Kocharyan received the guests. Today the representative of Christian Churches accompanied by Catholicos Garegin II visited Khor-Virap monastery. Catholicos Grigor , the founder of the Apostolic Church and the first Catholicos was in confinement there.
